I was thinking about significant music for Christine and I and really Two Tone was the thing in our early days but it hardly seems appropriate for this site. Christine knew some of the Specials through her friend Pat who actually appears on the back of their first album cover. The tune I do recall and which I have hopefully attached a small excerpt in the music section has a short story associated with it as follows:

We, as a family, were going on a long journey I don't recall where and were listening on the car radio probably to Radio one. This particular song came up and toddler Elliot, who was not known to sing much at all and hadn't up to that point, suddenly sang out loud the chorus. Christine and I look at each other incredulously; it had been less than three years before that the most devastating event of our lives together had occurred, the loss of our second daughter.
